Additives
Concrete adhesive compositions may be different depending on the type of adhesive and different applications. These compounds are usually used to improve the performance of concrete adhesive, increase its strength and durability, as well as adapt to environmental conditions.
Cement: One of the most important compounds used in concrete adhesive is Portland cement, which is the main substrate and material that, after mixing with water, provides the connection between concrete parts in a sticky and cohesive manner.
Water: Water is an important factor for cement activation and adhesion formation. This compound is added to the cement in a certain amount to start the drying process and the formation of adhesion connections.
Polymer materials: some concrete adhesives contain polymer materials such as epoxy or polyvinyl acetate (PVA). These polymer materials increase adhesion strength, pressure and temperature resistance, and better mechanical properties in concrete adhesive.
Additives: Some other items such as reinforcing materials, heat reducing materials or lubricants may also be added to the concrete adhesive to create certain characteristics in this adhesive. These additives are used depending on specific needs.
